Her current research focuses on changes in access to health coverage and care under the Affordable Care Act, with a particular focus on underserved populations. She also recently created, and obtained funding for, a medical-legal partnership and associated coursework between the law school and United Family Medicine, a federally-qualified health center in St. Paul, in part through the support of a fellowship funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
